Pressio was founded in 2019 by eleven journalists who wanted to report on technology, business, science and culture without an owner looking over their shoulder.
Our story
We started with a newsletter, a spreadsheet of 400 readers and a promise: we would never sell your data and never publish a story we could not stand behind.
Today Pressio has 38 journalists in six cities and 54,000 paying members. We still answer every email, and we still publish every correction.
